Mike Conn is Executive Vice President of Development and Construction at Meridian, a full-service real estate developer focused primarily on healthcare properties in the western U.S.

With nearly 20 years of experience in construction, real estate, and development, he is responsible for all aspects of development, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, estimating, proformas, and scheduling. He oversees construction, asset management, and leasing of projects.

Prior to joining Meridian, Mike worked in commercial brokerage at CB Richard Ellis, where he specialized in the sales and leasing of industrial and flex/office product. He has also worked as a developer with Catellus & ProLogis, and as a general contractor with Turner Construction Company. Over the course of his career, MIke has completed several million square feet of projects with a value of nearly three-quarter billion dollars. The projects range from historic value-add renovations, to Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) sub-acute adaptive re-use facilities, to dense ground-up urban infill development. Some of the notable healthcare facilities include dialysis centers, bio-pharmaceutical labs, primary and specialty care medical and dental clinics, and several OSHPD out-patient ambulatory facilities. His clients include major healthcare providers such as Kaiser, Sutter, John Muir, HCA, DaVita, Amgen, Baxter, and many Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, a General Contractor, and LEED Accredited Professional.

Terry Wood is Vice President, Real Estate at Kaiser Permanente, one of America’s leading health care providers, with an annual operating revenue in excess of $70 Billion. Kaiser Permanente has more than 12 Million members and is growing.

Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente pioneered the integrated delivery model, which, through a partnership between the health plan, hospitals and Permanente medical groups, delivers high quality care to its members.

Terry is responsible for executing real estate services for Kaiser Permanente’s over 70 million square foot real estate portfolio, including more than 1,000 facilities, with a replacement value of over $32 Billion. He is accountable for developing industry leading tools, implementing strategy, and establishing industry best practices for all key functions within the Real Estate Division.

Terry has more than 25 years of experience in all facets of domestic and international corporate real estate, including strategic planning, real estate transactions, facilities management and construction.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2015, Terry was the Vice President, Global Real Estate, responsible for Hewlett Packard’s global real estate portfolio. He previously served as the Vice President, Global Real Estate for JDSU Corp. Terry spent 19 years in the Canadian Military Engineers, serving throughout Canada, Europe and the United Kingdom, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.

He graduated with an Engineering degree from The Royal Military College of Canada and maintains his Professional Engineering status. He is an active member in several real estate organizations. He is a past president of the Northern California Chapter of CoreNet Global and a past Officer on the CoreNet Global Board of Directors. He is a member of the Client Advisory Boards of JLL and Revista, and a Board Member of the Lake Merritt /Uptown District Association.

Terry is married, has two children, and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

JOHN S. MILNE

John joined Providence in May 2018 as Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Construction. As a practicing physician and capital venture entrepreneur, John brings a unique perspective into healthcare real estate that focuses on the health of the communities we serve. In his role as Chief Medical Officer for Zoic Capital, John provides leadership in managing a collection of early state healthcare and life science venture funds. John holds the distinction of the first physician certified as a WELL AP by the International Well Building Institute, as well as a history of leading large scale strategic initiatives with focus on new market growth, including development and implementation of new healthcare facilities. John received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

PERRY D. GUINN

Perry D. Guinn is the Vice President & General Manager of Global Real Estate for McKesson Corporation. McKesson’s core business is pharmaceutical distribution, health information technology, medical supplies, and healthcare management tools. The company generated revenues of $214 billion in 2019 and is currently seven on Forbes Fortune 500. McKesson is a 187-year-old American company based in Irving, Texas. The Real Estate Team manages a diverse portfolio of Office, Distribution, Medical, and Retail totaling 3,714 sites at 29.4M square feet. Perry has work for McKesson for 15 years.

Prior to McKesson, Perry started his career as an engineer in the Mobile Medical Manufacturing industry where he designed mobile MRI’s, CT’s, Lithotripsy, PET, PET/CT, SPECT, Cardiac Catheterization Labs, and other types of specialty vehicles. Perry held positions as VP New Product Development, VP of Engineering, and VP of Operations and transitioned to Real Estate after 17 years.

Perry earned a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, Master’s in Business Administration & Master’s in Project Management from DeVry University, and holds a PMP Certification. Additionally, has been selected for Chief Warrant Officer Four in the U.S. Army, with 38 years of Military Service. “Chief” Guinn ran construction operations while serving in Afghanistan, his awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, (2) Army Commendation Medals, Air Force Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and numerous other military honors.
