This course is designed to give the participant a basic understanding of the latest BOMA Office Standard and its application in today’s environment. The five basic steps used to correctly apply the 2024 Office Standards as well as what’s new will be covered in detail. The panel is made up of experts in the field as well as current authors of the Standards.
If you are participating in the webinar, please make sure you purchased the BOMA 2024 For Office Buildings Standard. It is not a requirement, but you will gain more knowledge, value and understanding having read through the Standard in its entirety.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Learn the when, why, and how to apply the BOMA 2024 For Office Buildings Standard such as when to select Method A or Method B, how to establish the Boundary Area for each floor, and consider special conditions, etc.
- Understand the primary objective of the Standard as it relates to the concepts and methodologies for CRE industry to facilitate transparent communication of fact based-data such as what is the differences between occupant area vs. rentable area.
- Understand the final area calculations and meaning generated from the application.
- Learn how the BOMA 2024 For Office Buildings Standard differs with the other five BOMA floor measurement standards.
