Vidhya Balakrishnan is the Head of Engineering for Property and Asset Management technologies at JLLT.   She is a seasoned Product and Technology leader with 20+ years of experience in leading global Engineering, Data & AI teams across commercial real estate, travel & other industries.  Vidhya joined JLL about 3 years back and has led multiple teams building Occupier and Property Management solutions giving her the breadth of commercial real estate industry knowledge.

Prior to JLL, she spent 12+ years in the Hospitality and Travel industry where she led multiple technology initiatives including their retailing and customer experience solutions, cloud architecture and AI initiatives.  What she loves most about her job is the opportunity to Lead global high performing engineering teams while being at the forefront of innovation developing cool solutions to solve some of the most complex CRE business challenges.

From a personal standpoint, Vidhya loves to travel, hike and read.  She lives in Dallas, TX with her family.

Brynn Hogan is a seasoned Product Management professional with over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate (CRE) operations sector. She specializes in leveraging technology to address complex challenges facing property teams. Throughout her career, Brynn has demonstrated expertise in selecting and implementing cutting-edge technological solutions, while simultaneously developing innovative products to enhance property efficiency. Her approach combines strategic problem-solving with a commitment to grace and integrity, making her a respected leader in the field of CRE technology.

David Fingret is a principal owner of Extreme Measures Inc; a company providing advanced building measurement and BOMA area analysis services throughout North America. 
David is a long-standing member of the BOMA International Floor Measurement Standards Committee and currently serves as the Vice Chairman. David is the  editor and illustrator of the BOMA measuring standard publications since the release of BOMA Office 2017.

Mary is the President and CEO of Dimensions Floorplans, LLC based in Austin, Texas for over 23 years.  Specializing in measuring and drawing all types of buildings and performing the resulting BOMA Standards area analysis, her company has built a solid reputation for a consistent high-quality product as well as expertise in the interpretation of BOMA Measurement Standards. Mary currently is a sitting member of the BOMA International Measurement Standards committee as well Co-Chair of Education Sub-committee.

Natalie is a designer, BOMA practitioner, and specialist in adaptive reuse design. Her education in adaptive reuse was the genesis of her growing understanding of strategic space analysis and her holistic approach to architecture, design, and construction. Natalie’s thoughtful design process focuses on the re-evaluation of a wide range of building assets to leverage their highest and best use. Whether renovation or ground-up, Natalie’s unique solutions to complex problems revitalize underperforming assets increasing and improving tenancy. Admired for her attention to detail, Natalie ensures a cohesive design vision is brought to life. 

Chris Horsley joined Hokanson Companies, Inc. (HCI) in 1997 while completing his degree in Civil Engineering at Purdue University. Now as Chief Operating Officer of the company, he focuses his efforts on construction, development and property/facility management. Chris oversees a team of property and construction managers that provide management services to approximately 7.25M square feet in a seven-state geographical service area. His BOMA involvement includes: Floor Measurement Standards Committee Member [2015-Present]; Industrial Floor Measurement Revision Task Force, Co-Chair [2018-2019]; Industry Defense Fund Committee, Vice Chair [2016-2018]; Industry Defense Fund Committee, Chair [2018-2020]; Strategic Planning Committee [2018] for the five-year strategic plan (2019-2023); BOMA/Indianapolis, Director [2018-2020]; and BOMA/Indianapolis, Secretary/Treasurer [2020-Present]. 

Joe Markling has been in the Commercial Real Estate Industry going on 44 years in a wide variety of roles including, Property Management, Asset Management, Property Operations, Insurance and Risk Management, Corporate Services, Client Management and Executive Leadership. In addition, Joe is pursued regularly as an instructor, presenter and public speaker who is excited to watch his audience learn and grow as he considers himself a lifelong learner! 

His contributions to many textbooks, publications and certifications makes him a recognized expert in all things CRE.  Recently he published a series titled Thoughts on Leadership on LinkedIn and that remains a passion as he is currently providing Executive / Organizational Development and Coaching to companies and individuals.

He is an active member of BOMA San Antonio and BOMA International. He has served as President of BOMA Greater Los Angeles, the Executive Committee of BOMA International and as Chair and CEO of BOMA International. 

Wendy Morton-Huddleston is the CEO of WMH Advisors LLC.  WMH Advisors is a strategic consultancy driving impactful professional, business and boardroom results in governance, leadership development, board readiness, branding and the success of women leaders and allies.  Wendy is a Board Director for NABA Inc., United Way National Capital Area (NCA) and Past AGA National President and Board Chair (2020-2021).  Wendy provides strategic insights in risk, compliance and controls, governance, business transformation, and value creation to clients across public and private sectors.  Wendy has a Corporate Board Governance Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Maryland and a BS in Finance from Norfolk State University. 

Alex Yow is a CPA and program manager specializing in global expansion, process improvement, and automation. He loves to solve complex challenges working across cross-functional, global teams. He is an expert in understanding accounting/financial requirements and communicating those requirements to technology, tax, and business operations teams to deliver high quality results in a timely manner. On his free time, Alex coaches a national-level Taekwondo team and enjoys hiking/nature.

Brian Pallasch joined the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) as the CEO/EVP in June 2019. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Institute, Pallasch leads a staff of 20 headquartered in Raleigh, NC, focused on serving the needs of the building enclosure profession. Pallasch also serves as a director on the board of the RCI-IIBEC Foundation.

Prior to joining IIBEC, Pallasch served as managing director of government relations and infrastructure initiatives at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in Washington, D.C. He was responsible for managing ASCE’s government relations department and was responsible for ASCE’s strategic initiative regarding infrastructure, including development of the Infrastructure Report Card.

Previously, Pallasch was director of government relations for the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), Alexandria, Va., for three years, where he was responsible for all federal and state relations.

Currently, Pallasch serves as the Chair of the Consultative Council at the National Institute of Building Sciences.  He served as president of the American League of Lobbyists in 2007-2008, after holding a seat on the board of directors from 2004-2006.

Pallasch holds a Master of Arts degree in international affairs from the American University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and international affairs from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Giffin is a Principal with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE) located in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a Licensed Architect and Registered Roof Consultant who specializes in the diagnosis and repair of building enclosure problems. With over 30 years of experience, he has been involved with many roofing and waterproofing related projects relating to both historic and contemporary structures. Notable projects include the Georgia World Congress Center, The Candler Building, The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, LSU Tiger Stadium, and Fenway Park. Mr. Giffin has performed building enclosure condition assessments, failure investigations, construction peer reviews, developed construction documents for both new construction and renovations, and provided construction period services for steep slope roofing systems, low slope roof systems, waterproofing membrane and plaza assemblies, and building enclosure repairs. He has investigated and designed numerous large plaza/amenity deck waterproofing projects both for new construction and for renovations on existing structures. He is an IIBEC Fellow, was past president of the IIBEC Georgia Chapter, and was the 2022-2023 IIBEC President. 

Seth Brooks is a building enclosure consultant and the Facilities Maintenance Manager for Roofing and Waterproofing at DFW International Airport. His primary duties are to maintain the building enclosure systems of nearly 300 structures on the property and to ensure that new facilities meet the roofing and waterproofing design and construction standards of the Airport. Seth has worked as a consultant and owner’s representative since 2015 and has experience in BECx services, investigating building enclosure failures, developing details for repairs, and reviewing building enclosure designs. He has been a member of IIBEC since 2016 and served as President of the North Texas chapter in 2022. Seth has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Eastern Illinois University. 

Marc Fischer is the President & CEO of InspiRE Training & Development. He is a Senior Commercial Real Estate Executive with proven success building and leading high-performance teams, delivering exceptional financial results for the business unit, and adding portfolio value through measurable gains in occupancy, tenant retention, and cost control. Marc is a nationally recognized facilitator and speaker on property management, asset management, and more. He also has a 25+ year background as a paramedic.

Matt Faupel is a distinguished senior property manager at Cushman & Wakefield in the St. Louis area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts Technology Management and a master’s in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri. Recognized for his professional excellence, Matt was named a 10 Under 40 Honoree for 2024 by UCM. His career began with managing student housing and conferences at colleges across the country before transitioning to Cushman & Wakefield. In 2022, he received the prestigious Mark of Excellence award for his exemplary management of a global headquarters property.

Matt is deeply committed to his community and profession. Locally, he has taken on various roles with BOMA, including serving on the Emergency Preparedness Committee and co-hosting Coffee & Conversations events. On an international scale, he is actively involved with the Emerging Professional Committee, demonstrating his dedication to fostering new talent in the industry. Matt was awarded the J Michial Coleman scholarship in 2023. He continues to engage with industry conferences, sharing his expertise and insights to drive the profession forward.

Amy Marsden is the Senior Area Director, Industrial Asset Services, at The RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR). She oversees the property management of approximately 54 million square feet of industrial assets across the United States. In her role as Senior Area Director at The RMR Group, she directs a nationwide team of dedicated professionals, focused on providing operational excellence in property management and asset services, including evaluation of client/owner investment strategies. Amy has managed over 20 MSF of commercial properties in her 20 years of experience in property management, including working in third-party property management for JLL, Cushman Wakefield | Thalhimer, AECOM, and CBRE. Amy has been routinely recognized for high-quality leadership awards within her organizations, and is an active member of IREM, BOMA, CREW, ULI, and NAOIP. Furthermore, she collaborates closely with RMR’s Energy and Sustainability Team to support its pledge to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. This year, she led her colleagues in achieving BOMA 360 Performance Designations for 28 industrial properties, partnering with national tenants to advance their mutual environmental, social and governance goals. In addition, Amy is leading her Industrial Team in implementing RMR’s on-site solar energy strategy.

Megan is Link Logistics’ director of Customer Experience, focusing on serving some of the firm’s largest customers. Drawing on her background in operations, Megan proactively develops processes to improve customers’ relationships with the firm.   

Prior to joining Link in 2021, Megan was senior property manager at EastGroup Properties, where she managed 3 million square feet of industrial assets in the Orlando market. Before transitioning to her current role at Link, she was associate director for the firm’s Central Florida markets, covering Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.   
 
Megan is the current co-chair of BOMA International’s industrial committee and a BOMA International industrial TOBY winner.

Elizabeth “Liz” David has been in commercial real estate for over 20 years.  With experience in office, retail and industrial she has been working in the industrial arena for the past 12 years.  She currently heads the Property Management team for Bridge Industrial’s Florida market which includes both owned assets as well as third party contracts. 

Liz holds her Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facility Management Administrator (FMA) designations as well as the Certified Property Manager (CPM).  Her award-winning team includes local and regional wins as well as individual awards on the local level.  

Susan Hammer is a BOMA Fellow and founder and managing principal of Hammer4 Real Estate Services leveraging her 40 years of property management experience and expertise to benefit the real estate industry.  Susan led her property team to a BOMA International Outstanding Building of the Year award (TOBY) in the Over 1 million Square Feet category and continues to partner with BOMA International, local BOMA Associations, and property teams on the BOMA 360 and TOBY programs.

Andrew is a first-generation Nigerian American from South Bend, Indiana, and the CEO & Founder of AAA Solutions; a consulting firm that provides workplace culture and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) consulting and training services.

Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. He then went on to complete his Master of Science from Michigan State University in Management, Strategy & Leadership. Lastly, Andrew received a certificate in DEI in the Workplace from The Muma College of Business at The University of South Florida.

With over 10 years of executive level management experience, Andrew has helped dozens of clients improve their employee engagement and create a sense of belonging within their organizations.

Andrew currently resides just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife and three children. He published his first book titled The Circle of Leadership in the Summer of 2020. The book serves as an entrepreneurial framework on how to create and leverage culture. Andrew released his second book titled The Building Blocks of Belonging in January 2024. The book explores the intersection of workplace culture and DEI. 

Hakan Ozsancak is Vice President Association Services & Publications at BOMA International. He oversees membership growth, working closely with all BOMA affiliates, growing BOMA’s building recognition programs; the 360, BOMA BEST, and the Toby’s. Hakan also is in charge of BOMA International’s editorial coverage, including short and long term articles, as well as its thought leadership such as the deep dives and how to handbooks. In addition, Hakan is the staff liaison to BOMA International’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + Committee. He is a father of two girls, one with special needs. He advocates for disability rights and is an active DEI+ advocate!

James Bowers has 20 years experience with Kings III Emergency Communications. For the last five years he has overseen the integration of all ASME 2019 compliant elevator systems, which require live video and two-way messaging for elevator entrapment assessment, into the Kings III Emergency Dispatch Center. James is also the developer and department head of the Solutions Engineering Department. In addition to being the subject matter experts for ASME 2019 code requirements, he and his team assist the Kings III sales and operations departments and their clients with navigating questions about the Kings III product line, the codes that govern them, and installation practices. 

Daniel Goldstein is a seasoned product manager with over a decade of experience in bringing innovative solutions to market. With an understanding of consumer needs and market dynamics, he has led cross-functional teams to launch successful products across diverse industries, including elevators, specialty chemicals, and consumer goods. Daniel's strategic vision and collaborative approach have driven product innovation, resulting in tangible business growth and customer satisfaction. Leveraging his analytical skills and market insights, he excels in identifying emerging trends and translating them into actionable product strategies. Spending most of his elevator career at Rath-Janus, Daniel worked on developing one of the more prominent two-way video messaging products on the market today.

Phillip Adams is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in training and education across various industries. Currently serving as an Industry Engagement and Education Specialist at Kings III Emergency Communications, he is dedicated to enhancing safety and communication practices in emergency response. Prior role at Kings III, he served as a Training Manager, where he developed and implemented comprehensive training programs to drive organizational success in the Emergency Dispatch Center. With over twenty years of experience, Phillip has demonstrated expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and performance analysis.

Benjamin L. Prior to joining BOMA Canada in 2012, Benjamin served as the CEO of Canadian Jewish Congress.  Earlier, he worked in the Privy Council Office and practiced law at Torys LLP. Benjamin previously served as a Law Clerk to the Chief Justice of Israel, worked at the Canadian Mission to the OECD in Paris and worked for the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club.  He lives with his family in Toronto and is active in the community in his spare time.    

Manager of Building Systems and Sustainability for BGO (BentallGreenOak) in Vancouver, BC, Christopher is a current BOMA Member and BC Hydro Energy Manager with more than five years of experience collaborating with a team of property managers on a portfolio of more than 40 properties. Christopher's work focuses on property certification, system decarbonization, and meeting net-zero emissions targets.
